BARCELONA - LONDRES

Rodrigo Díaz Cortez : Nace el 29 de abril de 1977 en Santiago de Chile, y desde el 2001 reside en España. (Narrador y fotógrafo). Ha realizado los más diversos oficios, pintor, librero, albañil, operario en laboratorio fotográfico, estibador de aviones, montador de estructuras metálicas, y taxista. En el 2000 aparece su primer libro de cuentos, La taberna del vacío, con más de cinco mil ejemplares vendidos.“Relatos breves e intensos, cargados de resonancias semánticas y silencios demoledores” (Matías Néspolo, El Mundo) “Nada de titubeos, sorprendente dotes narrativas, sobre todo en el lenguaje y la tensión de la cuerda por la que camina” (Felipe Guajardo, Revista Chasquí de Lleida) “Abarca un gran espectro imaginativo, en estos cuentos se da la magia, se da eso maravilloso que es que la mentira sea tan o más poderosa que la verdad” (Luis A. Tamayo, SECH) También ha sido incluidos en tres antologías españolas, Sobras completas, 2006, Qué me estas contando, 2007, y Café con letras, 2008. En su cuento “Pájaro azul” se basó un cortometraje de la UDL. En 2007 obtiene premio de cuentos Conil de la Frontera en Andalucía y es elegido ganador de la XII edición del Premio Mario Vargas Llosa de Novela, Tridente de plata se impuso por unanimidad entre 378 novelas de 32 países. El libro de cuentos Metales rojos y la novela Poeta bajo el mar Finalista XXXIX Premio Ciudad de Barbastro, se mantienen inéditos. Actualmente es profesor de narrativa en el Aula de Escritores de Barcelona.

Josepoeta (Arica – Chile el 23 de abril 1969) Publicaciones "Suspiros en el Amanecer" Chile 1988, "Poesía Estereotipada" Chile 1989, "Brotes de Abril" Barcelona 2007.
Presentará cortometraje "Eternidad" 2006 Codpa-Chile y poemas andinos, como a su vez presentará una sinopsis de su pelicula “Documental con poncho”.

Yuri Pezkhamino, nacio en Santiago de Chile el 1972, a los 15 años se declara poeta. Aplica el lenguaje poético en diferentes espacios la pintura, el vídeo y la pintura. Ha realizado diversas instalaciones en varias ciudades de Europa como Zurich, Milan, Amsterdan, Paris y Barcelona. Sus obra pictórica ha viajado a otras partes del mundo. Antipoeta y pintor mostrará tres cortometrajes y recitará alguno de sus poemas.

El movimiento “Amigo Artista”, tiene el agrado de presentar por única vez en Londres a unos jóvenes creadores procedentes de Barcelona, que nos deleitaran con sus trabajos más importantes, Sebastián Schmidt, Rodrigo Díaz Cortes, Yuri Pezkhamino y Josepoeta. Cine-Poesía-Musica, para una velada emocionante. Además estará el movimiento cultural Amigo Artista en pleno. No faltes!

The cultural Movement “Amigo Artista”, is pleased to present only once in London a few young artists from Barcelona, who will delight us with his most important works, Sebastian Schmidt, Rodrigo Diaz Cortez, Yuri Pezkhamino and Josepoeta. Cine-Poetry-Music for an exciting evening. Furthermore is the cultural movement in the artist friends. Not to be missed!

It is important to allow young people to have visibility the participation of migrant communities in the UK.
LATIN AMERICAN DOCUMENTARY-
JOVENES SIN FRONTERAS
This project documents the lives of young Latino Americans from 12 to 25 years old based in the UK highlighting their contribution to London life, sharing their achievements and concerns, we aim to bridge an understanding across generations and cultures.
It also explores the contrasting individual lives of Latin American young people as part of the capital Diasporas.
Music is very much part of this documentary as a history line that embraces this journey, with songs recorded at Soho Studios in collaboration with Camerum Bride and other recognized Latin American musicians like Carlos Paul.
Urban artists such as Indio Lirico, Sonido Callejero and Nuevo Gobierno Latin American rappers based in the UK are part of the new dimension of the Latin American identity in the UK.
Their songs reflect mixed languages, with their own cultural codes as a fluid identity which adapts very fast through cultures, countries and the richness of being other. It allows young people to express their social concerns their contribution through art.
This Documentary unfolds the perspective history of the Latin American community in London, and their growth through the participation of young people, where they convey their dreams, achievements, loss and search of their own voice.
This documentary depicts the Latin American culture enriching main festivals such as Carnaval del pueblo Thames Festival and other representative cultural events in London.
This project is lead by the Pro-Peruvian Arts UK, Coordinated by Sofia Buchuck in partnership with Imagen Latina TV and the most representative young community organizations, cultural groups, dance groups, music groups and solo Latin American artists in the UK.
